Stu Newman played and appeared with a variety of notable artists
such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, Brian Setzer, Nina Hagen,
Nona Hendrix, Sly Geralds (former Al Green, Bob Dylan,
Lenny Kravitz), Lenny Kaye, the Waitresses, the Hooters, and Dana
Jared (of the Wilson Pickett band). He has appeared throughout
New York City at many major venues such as Irving Plaza, Knitting Factory, BB Kings,
CBGB and Webster Hall.
Stu is a versatile player who can fluently cover many genres of
music including Rock, Pop, R&B and Jazz.
